Global Indian International School (GIIS) made its humble beginning with 48 students in its first campus at Mount Sophia, Singapore in 2002. Today, with 21 campuses in 7 countries across Asia, GIIS has emerged as a preferred international school offering Indian and international curricula to students from diverse nationalities. The school has established a global footprint with campuses in Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, UAE, Vietnam and India.
Since its inception, the school set its focus on providing quality education to students. GIIS schools have adopted the cultural ideology of ‘Schools That Learn’ that makes each individual at GIIS an equal partner in the process of learning. Nurturing students for the future is one of the key focus areas for GIIS schools, which ensures that adequate opportunity, mentoring and guidance is provided to students to excel in entrepreneurship, leadership, team work, group dynamics and academics.
The school relocated its headquarters and campus from Mount Sophia to Queenstown in the year 2004. GIIS Queenstown Campus - the flagship campus of the Global Schools Foundation - offers a range of curricula options for Kindergarten to Year 12 education, including International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), Cambridge IGCSE, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and Global Montessori Plus programme.
